2023 Award Winner

We are proud to announce Ansley Knor, of Kell High School, as one of the recipients of our 2023 Coach Marco Scholarship Award. Voted two-time Captain her Junior and Senior years, Ansley has been playing at the Varsity level all four years of her high school career leading the Lady Longhorns to a Sweet 16 appearance in the 2023 playoffs. In addition to her 14 years of lacrosse experience, Ansley participates in cross country track, is a member of the National Honor Society, Earth Club and Student Government Association.

Furthermore, Ansley led the way for the Lady Longhorn’s “Blue Tuesday”. Every Tuesday the Kell girls lacrosse team would wear blue t-shirts with “For Marco #8” on their backs, in remembrance of Coach Marco. We believe Ansley represents Marco, his beliefs, and his values. Ansley plans on continuing her education and lacrosse career at the University of South Florida this Fall. Good luck, Ansley!
